The Bontaz Group received an Award from the Renault Group as the supplier that has made the most progress in terms of CSR. This distinction echoes the new B1 Ambition 2030 strategy, making CSR a major stake in its transformation.
The Bontaz Group awarded by Renault for its CSR policy
The Bontaz Group was distinguished among the suppliers of the Renault Group, which has more than 10,000 suppliers! In fact, Bontaz received an Award from the Renault Group in the CSR commitment category, as the supplier with the most progress.
The evaluation is based on the EcoVadis questionnaire, a global CSR rating platform used by 70% of the CAC40 companies. The objective of EcoVadis' CSR assessment methodology is to evaluate the quality of a company's CSR management system through its policies, actions implemented and results.
The handover took place during a 100% digital ceremony on Thursday 5 November in the presence of Luca de Meo, the current CEO of the Renault Group and Purchasing Director Véronique Sarlat Depotte.
This recognition confirms the B1 Ambition 2030 strategy unveiled last March, which includes a strong commitment by the Bontaz Group to CSR.

Bontaz signatory of the United Nations Global Compact
As part of B1 Ambition 2030, Bontaz made a commitment by signing the Global Compact on last March 9.
Today, more than 10,000 companies around the world are signatories to this charter, the largest to date. In France, 1382 companies have committed to the Global Compact, including only 25 in the automotive sector!
The Global Compact is an initiative launched in 2015 by the United Nations to encourage companies around the world to adopt a socially responsible attitude. Each company undertakes to publish an annual report on the implementation and monitoring of its sustainable actions. Bontaz will publish its report in March 2021.
Towards a contribution to carbon neutrality
The Bontaz Group goes even further by joining the Science-Based Targets initiative. For this commitment, Bontaz is working on a methodology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and submit an objective for validation.
