As part of the Group's transformation and in connection with the ERP, the Supply Chain has created a new division dedicated to the digitalization of tools and processes. This unit intends to make the Supply Chain a more sustainable and efficient transformation lever by detecting tomorrow's opportunities as early as possible.
DIGITALIZATION AND AUTOMATION, KEY TECHNOLOGIES OF SUPPLY CHAIN 4.0
The Digital Cluster will streamline the day-to-day activities of the Supply Chain, providing a finer analysis capability with more reliable data while improving efficiency and boosting agility
The transformation of the Supply Chain will be based in particular on digitalization and on the automation of processes to optimise:
- Goods flow planning
- Logistics operations
- Analysis tools
This Digital Cluster is now fully operational and constitutes an excellent breeding ground for innovative projects related to Supply Chain issues. Its ambition is to accelerate digital transformation by identifying new transformation opportunities.
A MAJOR PROJECT FOR THE GROUP'S TRANSFORMATION
The Group, which is currently undergoing a digital transformation, is evolving to better meet the challenges of tomorrow, based on its B1 Ambition 2030 strategy. This Digital Cluster is therefore an integral part of this ambition.
A Pole of Excellence
This Centre aims to strengthen the Group's expertise in terms of Innovation and Excellence in order to remain at the forefront of the sector's standards and invent the industry of the future. It also enables us to place our partners and customers at the heart of the Supply Chain in order to improve the services currently offered and create new ones in the future.
And an Ideas Lab
This cluster relies on a Test & Learn approach to foster Innovation and the emergence of new processes. The projects to be developed rely on both internalized core competencies (such as Business Intelligence or Android Development, for example) and external solutions to respond in the most agile way possible to the needs and priorities of the department.
With an international dimension
As digitalization is a Group issue, the Cluster is currently setting up in each of the subsidiaries. Local relays will be deployed to accelerate this transformation project.
