#EQUALITYINDEX #HR #CSR

Bontaz has published its professional equality index for the year 2022 (based on 2021 data) and this year shows a sharp increase of +20 points. The increase in this index reflects the Group’s commitments in terms of gender equality and diversity, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the United Nations Global Compact, of which Bontaz is a member.

WHAT IS THE GENDER EQUALITY INDEX?

The Gender Equality Index was designed as a tool to end gender inequality in the workplace. The index consists of 5 main criteria, or indicators, which assess gender inequalities in companies in the form of a score out of 100. Every company with at least 50 employees is expected to calculate and publish this gender equality index.

+20 POINTS OF INCREASE FOR BONTAZ IN ONE YEAR

For the year 2022, the cumulative results obtained on the 5 monitoring indicators will result in a score of 75 points out of a total of 100. This score is a clear improvement over the year 2021 with an increase of +20 points. This evolution of the result proves the commitment of the Bontaz Group to a policy that promotes diversity in all its forms.

The summary showing the score for each of the indicators is presented below (with a comparison to the previous year):

A STRONG COMMITMENT TO PROFESSIONAL GENDER EQUALITY

Gender equality is an issue for the Bontaz Group, which is part of its CSR policy based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN (Goal 5: Gender equality).
In this respect, Bontaz has set itself the objective, through the implementation of an ambitious action plan, of improving the result of its index in the years to come and thus reducing the inequalities observed as much as possible.
